| Randolph Mayer has been practicing as a trial lawyer in Atlanta for over 30 years. He is a graduate of The University of Texas Law School and has been given an AV rating by his peers. He is a Master of the Joseph Lumpkin Inn of Court and has been named a Super Lawyer by Atlanta Magazine in Business Litigation five times. Randolph is a member of the Lawyer's Club of Atlanta and has served on its Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Old War Horse Lawyers Club and has served as Chair of the Litigation Section of The Atlanta Bar Association. In that capacity he, along with Fred Orr, established the Logan Bleckley award annually given to the member of the Judiciary exemplifying the highest ideals of the Bench including respect for the citizens' right to trial by jury. He has been a member of the American College of Mediators and is currently a member of the Georgia and National Academy of Mediators and Arbitrators.
Randolph's trial experience is extensive. He has led over a hundred jury trials and arbitrations. He has experience in diverse areas of the law including defamation, trade name infringement, corporate internal affairs, tortious interference with business and contractual relations, restrictive covenants, securities and common law fraud, condemnation, government regulations, serious and catastrophic injuries, breach of contract, professional malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty, white collar crime and civil rights infringement. He has also mediated over a thousand cases as a neutral and has an active arbitration practice both as an advocate and an arbitrator. He has served as a special master and has testified several times as an expert witness on various legal matters including attorney's fees and malpractice.
Randolph has lectured extensively and chaired seminars on various legal topics including abusive litigation, closing arguments, mediation advocacy, business torts, damages, jury selection, direct examinations and defamation.
